School Uniform

In accordance with the school policy, the expectation is that all children will wear uniform or school colours.  Uniform is a royal blue sweatshirt with the "Badby School" logo printed on it.  In addition there are blue cardigans and polo shirts in yellow and blue which are also printed with the school logo. The uniform may be completed with grey, black or navy trousers or skirts.  A school fleece and reversible coat are also available.

Children should wear sturdy shoes with good grips suitable for playground wear all year round.

A strong nylon "book bag" in blue and printed with the school logo is used by children to carry books and letters and is available from Scallywagz, in Daventry.  Uniform is also available to buy from Scallywagz and Tailor Made.

P.E. Kit

All pupils should be suitably dressed for P.E. activities.

They require a named draw-string bag containing their kit.

For indoor P.E. lessons on large apparatus (climbing frames, etc.) and dance based activities, pupils will be requested to take part in their bare feet.  However, during indoor games skills activities, plimsolls will be worn. For outdoor games, children will require waterproof trainers and warm outer clothing – old outer clothing or tracksuits would be suitable.

ALL clothing brought into school and all uniform items should be clearly marked with your child’s name.

Swimming

Pupils in years 3 - 4 will attend Daventry Leisure Centre for swimming lessons. They will be transported between the school and the leisure centre by coach.  They require a swimming costume/swimming trunks and a towel. Less able swimmers in year 5 and 6 will also have an opportunity to continue to go swimming.
